About Charllotte
Songwriter and vocalist Charllotte was lucky enough to receive four stars from Platomania for her first solo album called ‘A Wish in the Dark’. This album immediately gave her wide recognition. She has been described as “a sparkling muse” (Muziekwereld), and the international press stated that her music “combines Pop and Jazz at a high level” (Jazzdimensions).
“Be yourself. Be nobody else. That is better.”
Scandinavian roots: In 2010, she recorded a few Swedish songs on an EP called “Vingar” (Wings), where her own jazz-composing and arranging was fused with traditional, Swedish folk. The following years were dedicated to more writing, collaborations and performing. In 2016 the time was ripe for some more releases: The self-titled solo-album and the EP “(t)Reue” mainly contain her own compositions in three languages.
This is where Charllotte’s true passions meet and interact: Songwriting, languages and vocal exploration all become part of one strong performance. In 2022, to explore and deepen her production skills, she got herself some Sound Education.
In 2019, Charllotte embarked on an adventure called Mermaid Radio.
